Strong police force essential to national security
Building a clean and strong police force to fullfill assigned tasks under the current situation was the theme of a seminar, organised by the Ministry of Public Security and Nhan Dan (People) Newspaper in Hanoi on July 10.
Politburo members: Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc, Minister of Public Security Tran Dai Quang; Party Central Committee members: Editor-in-Chief of Nhan Dan Newspaper Thuan Huu, and Deputy Ministers of Public Security: Pham Quy Ngo and To Lam attended the event.

The Vietnamese people’s police force has also greatly continued its glorious tradition. The seminar was also held on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the force’s traditional day (July 20, 1962-2012).
Speaking at the seminar, Deputy PM Nguyen Xuan Phuc commended the efforts and work done by the police force to ensure national construction and defence.
